Stoianoglo could not find out from the press about the subject of suspicious transactions in particularly large proportions! This is the statement of the president of the Laundromat Commission, Inga Grigoriu. The reaction comes after the deputy found out that in 2013, the current general prosecutor, Alexandr Stoianoglo, was chairman of the commission and, respectively, member of the CSS.

We are now studying the files of the parliamentary committee on national security, defense and public order, 2010–2014. This meeting, dated 2013, caught our attention. What exactly did the commission inform the gentlemen from SIS, NAC and General Prosecution? What was said behind closed doors? I remind you that the chairman of the commission was Mr. Stoianoglo and, respectively, a member of the CSS, wrote Inga Grigoriu, on her Facebook page.

In this regard, Grigoriu also attached a copy of a report, which confirms this fact. Moreover, she stated that the respective documents were declassified by the ex-president Nicolae Timofti, starting with the year 2012, and in the CSS, however, the subject of suspicious transactions is discussed in particularly large proportions.

So Mr. Stoianoglo could not find out from the press about this, as he told us in writing. More details on this subject could be provided by Mr. Bălan, ex-director of SIS who already has the invitation of the Laundromat Commission to participate in the public hearings “, Grigoriu pointed out.

Grigoriu mentions that the Laundromat Commission will try to find out more details from the former SIS director, Mihai Balan, whom he invited to participate in the public hearings.

SafeNews.md states that on January 18, Attorney General Alexandr Stoianoglo provided answers to questions asked by the Parliamentary Commission of Inquiry to elucidate all the circumstances that led to money laundering in particularly large proportions through judges and financial-banking institutions in Republic of Moldova.

Then Inga Grigoriu wanted to specify the fact that the answers presented once again accentuate the perpetuation of the state of impunity and the lack of responsibility in front of the citizens. From the document presented by the chairman of the commission, Inga Grigoriu, reveals a total disinterest of the general prosecutor in the subject under discussion, the formulations being often used: I don’t know… I don’t remember am

Previously, the Parliamentary Commission of Inquiry to elucidate all the circumstances that led to money laundering in particularly large proportions through judges and financial-banking institutions in the Republic of Moldova, led by Deputy Inga Grigoriu tried to hear the Prosecutor General Alexandr Stoianoglo. However, he did not appear at the discussions, ignoring the invitation.

Subsequently, the members of the Commission decided to address the questions in writing to the Head of the General Prosecutor’s Office, Alexandr Stoianoglo.
